Music has been a saving grace of mine throughout some of the most difficult times in my life such as my parents’ divorce when I was 16 to eventually losing them both to cancer before I turned 40. Playing music has helped me process some of my most difficult emotions and find joy and comfort in their expression. My goal and desire is to pay forward that joy and healing. For the past 25+ years, I’ve engaged in a musical journey performing in various bands and ensembles, writing and recording several full length albums, as well as earning a bachelor’s degree from Drexel University in The Music Industry. In addition to my musical journey, I’ve been working with individuals with special needs for over 20+ years, primarily young adults with autism. I have always searched for ways and opportunities to combine these two worlds of mine and have been fortunate to do so through lessons, group jam sessions, various music classes and workshops. Through the gift of musicI’ve been blessed to work with and come to know some truly unique and incredible people, as well as their wonderful families. It is my goal and purpose to continue sharing the joy, love, and peace that I have found in music with neuro-divergent individuals.
